Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at STEP Energy Services. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy for our nitrogen pumping equipment and industrial services division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to increase revenue and market share in the Permian and Gulf Coast regions.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with pipeline and plant managers to identify new business opportunities.
  • Analyze client needs and interests to determine how our products and services can best meet their requirements.
  • Sell our products and services, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and gather intelligence on competitor activities.
  • Recommend solutions to product-related problems and facilitate the resolution of client issues.
  • Develop a reputation for STEP Energy Services as a reliable, technical, innovative, and cost-effective nitrogen solution provider.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry associations, and client events to promote our products and services.
  • Provide qualified leads to the sales team to improve their ability to break down barriers with prospective clients.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of field sales experience, with at least 5 additional years working specifically in pipeline, plant purging, and plant turnarounds.
  • Strong technical understanding of nitrogen services and their applications in target client operations.
  • A demonstrated network of contacts within STEP Energy Services' target client list.
  • Valid driver's license.
