About the Role

We are seeking a Clinical Operations Assistant to join our team at UW Health. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support the inpatient nursing department.

Job Summary

This role will provide daily support to the inpatient nursing department, including compliance validation, supply ordering, and new employee onboarding. Additionally, this position will review payroll to ensure accuracy and policy compliance and prepare reports for the Nurse Manager. The successful candidate will also coordinate inpatient clinical staff schedules, both day-to-day maintenance and ongoing postings.

What You'll Do
  • Provide daily support to the inpatient nursing department, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Order supplies and manage inventory levels to maintain efficient operations.
  • Support new employee onboarding process, ensuring timely completion of required tasks and documentation.
  • Review payroll to ensure accuracy and policy compliance, preparing reports for the Nurse Manager as needed.
  • Coordinate inpatient clinical staff schedules, managing day-to-day maintenance and ongoing postings.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field preferred.
  • One year of experience in an administrative support role required.
  • Three years of experience in an administrative support function preferred.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
