Position Overview:

The Risk Management Professional is responsible for implementing analytical risk management strategies that support organizational mission assurance by preparing for, preventing, mitigating, responding to, and recovering from crises. This role requires advanced consulting capabilities and extensive technical knowledge within the industry. The professional will devise innovative solutions to intricate challenges and work with minimal supervision while mentoring and potentially overseeing team members.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Risk Management or Program Management.
  • Familiarity with risk management methodologies, tools, and processes, along with program management principles.
  • Proficient in analyzing complex scenarios and formulating creative solutions for risk identification, mitigation, monitoring, and control.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Certification in Risk Management Professional or DAWIA is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Risk Management for the Department of Defense or a federal agency.
  • Understanding of risk management tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with program teams to integrate risk management into all phases of program planning and execution.
  • Competence in documenting all risk management activities, maintaining a risk register, and ensuring that all risk-related documentation is current and accessible.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to fulfill eligibility requirements for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.

Compensation is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, competencies, experience, and contract-specific requirements. The anticipated salary range for this position is between $75,600.00 and $172,000.00 annually.

Work Environment:

Our culture prioritizes flexibility and collaboration, whether in-person or remote. If this position is designated as remote or hybrid, periodic work from a Booz Allen or client site facility will be required. For onsite roles, in-person collaboration with colleagues and clients will be necessary as dictated by the specific responsibilities.
