We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Manager to join our rapidly growing compliance solution delivery team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in protecting Amazon customers from products that are illegal, illegally marketed, unsafe, or otherwise prohibited by Amazon policies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective controls to ensure product compliance in Amazon's US marketplace
- Work closely with corporate counsel, legal, business teams, selling partner experience and support teams, operational excellence, product, BI and data science/engineering teams to deliver high-impact end-to-end compliance solutions
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly metrics to report to onsite management teams and corporate-based reporting systems
- Ensure compliance with all corporate compliance program expectations and applicable federal and state law
- Conduct risk assessments related to existing processes and new product assortment
- Recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures to corporate compliance, including process change and training considerations
- 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
- Master's degree or equivalent
- SQL
