Job Title: Adoption Case Manager

Job Summary:

Holt International Children's Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Adoption Case Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Programs and Services Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful placement of children with nurturing families through the adoption process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and assess child and family case materials to ensure appropriateness for adoption
  • Coordinate and manage country caseloads, ensuring families move through each phase of the adoption process
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with social service staff, branch offices, and cooperating agencies
  • Provide timely communication and support to adoptive families, ensuring their successful adjustment to one another
  • Monitor and maintain efficiency of administrative systems and procedures used by overseas staff, program coordinators, and director
  • Assess and address challenges and issues arising during the adoption process, exercising good judgment and courtesy in contact with team members, families, and other constituents

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work or related field, with 3 years of experience in international or domestic adoption or child welfare
  • Knowledge of adoption procedures, child development, and family dynamics
  • Proven clinical and assessment skills, with experience in adoption services and processes
  • Excellent writing and computer skills, with experience in office software, communication apps, and database
