About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team at Severna Park Dental Care. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality dental services.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their dental journey.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patients' health histories to provide quality care.
  • Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments using state-of-the-art technology.
  • Provide superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during various procedures.
  • Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
  • Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA & CDC recommendations.
  • Manage supply and inventory levels, placing and expediting orders as needed.
  • Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.

Severna Park Dental Care is a unique practice that thrives on collaboration, communication, and community. Our small 6-person team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and experiences. We are located at 501 Jumpers Hole Road in Severna Park, MD.

Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
  • X-ray certification.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
