Patient Service Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Mass Lung & Allergy PC. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage patient calls and voicemails in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate patient schedules and appointments with providers.
- Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions in our electronic medical record system.
- Assist patients with insurance and referral processes.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical records.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office setting.
- Electronic medical records experience.
- Knowledge of insurance and referral processes.
