Job Title: Patient Service Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Mass Lung & Allergy PC. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient calls and voicemails in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Coordinate patient schedules and appointments with providers.
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions in our electronic medical record system.
  • Assist patients with insurance and referral processes.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical records.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a medical office setting.
  • Electronic medical records experience.
  • Knowledge of insurance and referral processes.
