Position Summary:

In the role of Senior Manager for the CVD/PVD sector within the Advanced Technology Engineering team, you will be responsible for assembling and nurturing a high-performing team dedicated to driving new product introductions and scaling operations at our latest memory fabrication facility.

This cutting-edge facility will integrate technology development with manufacturing, facilitating the direct transition of innovative products from research and development into production.

Your team will engage with Micron's pioneering products from the initial development phase through to customer qualification.

Your primary goal will be to leverage global resources to enhance equipment and yield performance in alignment with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete all necessary safety training and ensure compliance with Micron's safety protocols while fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of skilled process engineers.
  • Establish a culture of innovation and resilience within the team.
  • Support the qualification of a state-of-the-art processing facility.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to team members regarding performance and career progression.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop processes and equipment that align with Micron's technology roadmap.
  • Partner with Technology Development to ensure effective product transfer and ramp-up of yield and quality.
  • Coordinate with other manufacturing teams and lead global alignment initiatives.

This role necessitates effective communication and collaboration with partners across various locations. Adherence to Micron's Intellectual Property protection policies is essential.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum of 6 years of senior-level experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in DRAM, with consideration for other memory technologies or logic/foundry experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of CVD and PVD capital and support equipment.
  • Proven experience managing a process engineering team for at least 3 years.
  • Experience in supplier management and establishing accountability programs.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing team structures, standards, and processes.
  • Ability to instill a departmental culture aligned with the company's core values.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
