We are seeking a Part-Time HR Compliance Specialist to oversee that our human resources operations align with legal standards and industry benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep abreast of legislative developments and emerging trends in the industry.
- Generate reports to meet various U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) mandates along with other state and local regulations.
- Maintain awareness of legal modifications and establish a notification system for updates or new laws.
- Offer compliance guidance and ensure any identified deficiencies are rectified.
- Conduct regular internal assessments or audits to verify adherence to compliance protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Regulatory Affairs, or Human Resources; SHRM Certification is advantageous.
- In-depth understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
- Familiarity with employment laws in Arizona, Nevada, California, and Texas.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory or compliance roles; experience in the restaurant sector is beneficial.
