Packaging Reliability Engineer
In the role of Packaging Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial part in the qualification of packaging solutions for consumer electronic devices. You will collaborate closely with the packaging design engineers and management teams to establish benchmarks, outline testing protocols, and oversee the execution of tests along with failure investigations. Your effective communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in promoting the acceptance of your technical insights. The packaging teams are committed to enhancing the out-of-box experience and ensuring sustainable packaging solutions. Our packaging is utilized across millions of products spanning various categories. As a vital contributor to the qualification of diverse packaging types, a Packaging Reliability Engineer must possess extensive knowledge of product and packaging reliability challenges and demonstrate enthusiasm for tackling new issues. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the planning, methodology, and execution of packaging reliability tests. Facilitate the failure analysis process in collaboration with both internal and external cross-functional teams for all failures identified during reliability assessments.
  2. Engage in work within reliability testing laboratories and partner with test engineers.
  3. Perform statistical evaluations and risk assessments.
  4. Discuss issues with cross-functional teams and escalate critical matters to the management team.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  2. A minimum of 1 year of experience in reliability engineering.
  3. Familiarity with packaging testing standards such as ISTA and ASTM. Proficient in operating environmental chambers, vibration shakers, and drop testers.
  4. Knowledge of reliability methodologies including DFMEA, Weibull analysis, and TTF models.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience collaborating with overseas manufacturing partners.
  2. Master's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Science.
  3. Experience in package testing.
  4. Familiarity with failure analysis techniques.
  5. Proficiency in Chinese and Vietnamese languages.
