Job Overview

Position: Web Accessibility Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Mountain View, CA (Onsite role)

Contract Duration: 12 Months+

Role Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in evaluating websites for compliance with WCAG 2.0 Level AAA and Section 508 standards.
  • Expertise in WAI-ARIA implementation.
  • A solid grasp of W3C standards-compliant HTML and CSS.
  • Familiarity with Web Accessibility Evaluation Tools.
  • Knowledge of assistive technologies utilized for web navigation, such as JAWS or NVDA.
  • Experience with Deque tools (aXe, Assure Comply, or Worldspace) is preferred.
  • Background in Digital & Mobility platforms like CMS (AEM) and Digital packages (Hybris, Demandware).
  • Understanding of various delivery methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Iterative approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the integrity of testing and acceptance processes.
  • Conduct automation testing and design, author, and review test cases.
  • Review test deliverables including test scenarios, test cases, and automation scripts.
  • Provide test estimates for projects and prepare test strategies in collaboration with QA managers.
  • Execute testing by identifying relevant test cases for each cycle and determining regression suites for automation.
  • Collaborate with the test manager on execution cycle estimates and track daily progress of activities.

Oversee the implementation and execution of functional, regression, and acceptance testing to ensure high-quality outcomes.
