Job Description

About the Role

New Generation Mechanical LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Project Manager to join our team. As a Sales and Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the commercial HVAC construction market in the DFW Metroplex.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Business Development
    • Identify and pursue sales opportunities in the DFW area marketplace
    • Develop and maintain relationships with owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, and other contacts to facilitate project activities and sell future work
    • Track and follow up on all leads to ensure maximum conversion rates
  • Project Management
    • Visit job sites to ensure projects are progressing as planned
    • Prepare and execute formal subcontracts to subcontractors, purchase materials and equipment, set up budgets, and coordinate labor for all projects
    • Prepare and execute monthly and final billing to ensure a positive cash position throughout the project
  • Key Qualifications
    • Sales and Network
      • Proven success in sales of HVAC projects in the commercial construction marketplace in DFW
    • Mechanical Knowledge
      • Thorough working knowledge of the design and construction of mechanical systems, including the ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
    • Self-Starter
      • Ability to work independently, manage time well, and complete and prioritize daily activities according to work schedule
    • Excellent Communication Skills
      • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3-5 years of experience in HVAC sales and project management that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work
