Job Summary

This is a leadership role that oversees the daily operations of a retail store, ensuring that customer service standards are met and financial goals are achieved. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a team, controlling expenses, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directs and guides store managers and associates on customer service approaches and techniques.
  • Ensures customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved within company guidelines and standards.
  • Drives financial performance by controlling expenses and wages, and creating plans to improve financial performance.
  • Participates in community outreach programs and promotes company-sponsored events and sustainability efforts.
  • Directs facility operations, including setting service levels, teaching merchandise presentation, and overseeing quality assurance standards.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates, including hiring, training, and mentoring.
  • Drives the execution of business plans and projects, including identifying customer and operational needs, developing business plans, and measuring progress.
Requirements
  • 1 year's general management experience, including financial accountability.
  • 2 years' of college, or 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's experience supervising 10 associates/employees, or 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's experience supervising 10 associates/employees.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership.
  • General work experience supervising 20 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
