Key Responsibilities

As a Police Officer, your duties will include:
  • Patrolling assigned areas to maintain public safety and order.
  • Responding to emergency calls and incidents.
  • Conducting investigations and preparing reports.
  • Engaging with community members to foster positive relationships.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Employment as a sworn Police Officer with a California P.O.S.T. certified agency or successful completion of a P.O.S.T. approved police academy.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or higher level degree from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of a valid California driver's license.
  • Must obtain CPR and First Aid certifications within the first year of employment.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age by the time of appointment.
