Key Responsibilities of the Clinic Receptionist:

  • Proficiently utilize clinic software and systems.
  • Manage the switchboard telephone system effectively.
  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments.
  • Gather necessary demographic information from patients and input it into the system.
  • Complete patient encounter documentation accurately.
  • Assist patients with billing inquiries or direct them to the appropriate billing personnel.
  • Process payments for services in accordance with clinic policies.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality at all times.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • All staff members are expected to provide care to patients under the guidance of physicians while respecting the preferences of patients and their families, provided it aligns with medical directives and prioritizes the patient's best interests. Personal beliefs and interests should never interfere with the quality of care delivered to patients.
Qualifications and Experience:

High School diploma or GED is required.

Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
