We are seeking a dedicated Store Manager to support the ownership in running a successful retail establishment that prioritizes outstanding customer service. This role encompasses all facets of managing a single retail location, including hiring, scheduling, training, and leading a team that is committed to exceeding customer expectations.

The Store Manager will oversee daily operations to meet sales and profitability targets, enhance customer acquisition, and foster customer loyalty. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory quality, managing budgets, and controlling operational expenses. This position is hands-on and requires leading by example.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Development: Recruit and effectively staff the store to meet customer needs while adhering to labor budget goals.
  • Coaching and Training: Inspire and motivate team members to enhance performance and customer interactions. The manager must have a thorough understanding of all roles to train employees effectively.
  • Leading by Example: Demonstrate exceptional service on the sales floor, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and prioritizing daily objectives.
  • Regular Team Meetings: Conduct meetings to provide ongoing training and discuss current trends.
  • Employee Relations: Identify and address training needs or employee issues proactively.
  • Sales Focus: Understand the retail business dynamics, including customer service, inventory management, and sales strategies.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to increase customer traffic and sales.
  • Operational Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and minimize loss through effective management practices.
  • Store Presentation: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment that surpasses customer expectations.
  • Self-Motivation: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and initiative, both in the presence of the owner and independently.
  • Interest in Resale: A genuine passion for the resale industry is essential.

The ideal candidate will have flexible availability, including nights and weekends, and possess a solid work history in retail management, particularly in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with a background in resale or fashion retail management are preferred.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience in addressing employee and customer challenges professionally.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a retail management role.
