Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and staff
  • Engage with customers promptly; manage transactions with enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Develop knowledge of brands, products, and pricing
  • Assist in purchasing pre-owned clothing and accessories (training provided)
  • Inform customers about current promotions
  • Label and price items, restock merchandise according to visual merchandising standards
  • Oversee store displays and contribute to merchandise planning
  • Support and mentor junior team members to uphold high quality standards
  • Lead the team in achieving sales targets and maintaining store organization
  • Collaborate with management to sustain a positive and efficient work environment
  • Open and close the store independently

Qualifications:

  • Ability to create a positive shopping experience for customers and staff
  • Promptly greet customers and handle transactions with professionalism
  • Familiarity with brands, products, and pricing
  • Willingness to learn about purchasing used clothing and accessories
  • Communicate promotions effectively to customers
  • Label and restock items according to merchandising plans
  • Maintain store displays and assist in merchandise planning
  • Mentor junior staff in achieving quality standards
  • Guide the team in reaching sales and store maintenance objectives
  • Assist management in creating a productive work atmosphere
  • Work independently to open and close the store
  • Efficiently complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Prior retail sales experience is preferred
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods
