Team Development:
Identify, recruit, and appropriately staff the store to ensure customer needs are met while adhering to labor budget goals, aiming for total labor costs below 20% of net sales.

Coach, train, and motivate team members to enhance performance and foster engagement with customers.

Possess a thorough understanding of all roles within the store to effectively train employees to meet expectations.

Customer Service Excellence:
Exhibit a high standard of customer service and serve as a mentor and role model with an exceptional work ethic.

Lead by example on the sales floor, demonstrating urgency and efficiency while supporting team members in their tasks.

Regularly schedule team meetings to discuss training, evolving conditions, and current trends.

Recognize and address employee-related issues that require training or coaching.

Sales and Performance Focus:
Understand the retail business dynamics, including customer transactions, service, floor management, inventory control, and markdown strategies.

Develop and implement strategies to drive customer traffic and sales while adhering to company guidelines to maintain cost of goods sold (COGS) and minimize loss.

Ensure the store remains visually appealing, clean, and organized, exceeding customer expectations and staying ahead of competitors.

Maintain fresh and seasonally appropriate merchandise displays, proactively identifying areas for improvement.

Work Environment:
This role requires a self-starter who demonstrates diligence whether the owner is present or not.

Availability is required across all days of the week, including nights and weekends, to share coverage responsibilities.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced retail or restaurant management role is required.

Strong leadership, customer service, and sales skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, totaling 40 hours per week.

Demonstrated management capabilities and a reputation for providing creative solutions to challenges.

Exhibit high energy levels and a sense of urgency in completing daily tasks.

This position is not behind-the-scenes; it is a leadership role that requires active participation on the sales floor.
