Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and sell gas price signage and associated services to retail petroleum operators.
  • Effectively present and articulate product offerings to potential clients.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and convey the value of solutions to prospective customers.
  • Comprehend and relay the technical specifications and advantages of the products/services offered.
  • Build and sustain relationships with daily contacts, as well as various leaders and executive-level stakeholders within client organizations.
  • Maintain an existing customer base while identifying and generating new business opportunities.
  • Oversee project scope and manage customer expectations effectively.
  • Engage with clients from project initiation and maintain consistent communication to ensure a reliable presence.
  • Document and manage all issues and risks related to the daily operations of customer contracts during the post-implementation phase.
  • Prepare contracts and pricing proposals utilizing standard templates and pricing protocols.
  • Facilitate training sessions as necessary for both new and existing accounts.
  • Process sales orders promptly and assist with invoicing efforts.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, product innovations, and competitor activities.
  • Identify potential prospect categories, research sales contacts, develop tailored sales strategies, and implement follow-up programs.
  • Engage in cold calling and marketing efforts to reach favorable prospects.
  • Maintain customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Participate in customer events and trade shows.
  • Willingness to travel 50% to 70% of the time.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience, particularly in technical sales within the manufacturing sector.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and management skills.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented.
  • Able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to investing additional time and effort when required.
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience with NetSuite or other CRM tools.
Compensation:
The starting salary for this role ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 base, with potential for higher compensation based on experience. This position is also eligible for commission.
