Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will encompass underwriting and executing new financial transactions, along with managing existing portfolios. The team is tasked with delivering innovative capital solutions to private equity clients focused on technology investments.

Essential Functions

Underwriting

  • Financial Modeling: Develop projection models based on internal or sponsor assumptions, incorporating thorough analysis of historical financial data.
  • Due Diligence: Assess materials provided by target companies and sponsors, including historical financials and management presentations; analyze third-party reports and generate inquiries to address information gaps.
  • Loan Package Preparation: Compile comprehensive loan packages for approval utilizing internal systems.
  • Recommendation Generation: Employ analytical skills and independent judgment to formulate recommendations for senior management.
  • Internal Deal Approval: Assist in facilitating the internal approval process for transactions.

Portfolio Management

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting from portfolio entities.
  • Manage and create credit files for compliance and internal reporting purposes.
  • Prepare documentation and presentations for portfolio reviews.
  • Conduct research and analysis as directed, maintaining portfolio analytics and credit statistics.

External Engagement

  • Participate in discussions with sponsors and management teams at portfolio companies.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience with strong credit analysis and accounting skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years in leveraged finance, investment banking, or commercial finance.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; formal credit training is advantageous.
