POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Responsible for accurately picking, packing, and dispatching materials and supplies to both internal and external clients in a timely manner; efficiently manages the transportation, sorting, and stocking of materials.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilizes appropriate tools and vehicles, such as hand dollies, forklifts, electric dollies, pallet jacks, and elevators, to transport incoming and outgoing materials to designated locations.
  • Conducts quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials and products to ensure standards are met.
  • Sorts and organizes materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins in accordance with established inventory protocols.
  • Picks, packs, and ships products and materials as required.
  • Handles all shipping processes for packages and manages the return of merchandise.
  • Performs physical inventory counts and replenishes stock from backup locations as necessary.
  • Maintains a safe and organized working environment.
  • Engages in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Completes necessary administrative tasks, including preparing reports and correspondence.
  • Undertakes additional related duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • One to two years of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience operating forklifts.
  • Knowledge of shipping practices and handling techniques.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workflow effectively.
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Windows applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Capability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Regularly required to walk and stand.
  • Occasionally required to sit.
  • Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
  • Regularly required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl.
  • Consistently required to communicate verbally and audibly.
  • Must have visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and use a keyboard.
  • Regularly required to lift, push, or carry more than 50 pounds.
  • Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts.
  • May be exposed to outside weather conditions.
  • Specialized equipment used includes forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and pallet jacks.

COMPENSATION: Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
