Job Summary:

ASGCO Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sales Territory Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a proven track record of success in the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and Increase Sales: Develop and execute sales strategies to increase sales and market share in the Chicago area.
  • Build and Maintain Customer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service, solving problems, and creating value.
  • Product Education and Training: Educate and train distributors and customers on the features and benefits of ASGCO products and services.
  • Technical Service: Ensure technical service requirements for customers are met.
  • Leadership and Mechanical Aptitude: Demonstrate strong leadership abilities and a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • New Business Development: Generate new business with new or existing customers.
  • Sales Presentations: Create materials and conduct sales presentations to customers.
  • On-Site Troubleshooting: Assist with on-site troubleshooting of customer concerns.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service and Communication Skills: Possess good customer service and communication skills.
  • Reliability and Organization: Be reliable, organized, detailed, and focused.
  • Computer Skills: Have computer skills including spreadsheet applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Industry Experience: Have conveyor manufacturing industry sales experience.
