Supervisor: Senior Manager, Employee Engagement & Retention

Location: New York, NY

Work Hours: Varies

Overview:
The Manager of Employee Engagement and Retention will collaborate closely with the Organizational Design and Development team to ensure that all employee-centric programs and initiatives enhance the onboarding experience and foster a culture of engagement and recognition. This role involves leading and facilitating training sessions, both in-person and virtually, to promote professional development and employee integration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategically coordinate and oversee program logistics in collaboration with the People Team and across the organization.
  • Facilitate and enhance employee program initiatives, including Internship programs and New Hire Orientation.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on the effectiveness of key initiatives to senior management.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop relevant content and training materials.
  • Draft internal communications and documentation related to employee learning experiences.
  • Manage the Internship program, including onboarding documentation and initial meetings.
  • Establish and communicate success metrics for programs and initiatives.
  • Conduct training needs assessments and oversee the design and delivery of training programs.
  • Work with the training team to enhance the onboarding experience for new employees.
  • Utilize technology to facilitate communication and engagement within learning communities.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in public administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Master's degree in a related field.
Preferred:
  • At least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
  • Experience in a large, dynamic organization.
  • Relevant professional certifications in Human Resources.
  • Familiarity with organizational policies and procedures.
