Key Responsibilities
+ Oversee intricate projects through the phases of design, prototyping, assembly, and commercialization of manufacturing equipment.
+ Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control, and finalize projects effectively.
+ Facilitate agile meetings and manage weekly deliverables across teams.
+ Assist in resource allocation and prioritization tasks.
+ Develop and sustain project management dashboards for tracking progress.
+ Influence team members who are not direct reports to achieve project goals.
+ Draft capital proposals and manage both capital and operational budgets.
+ Create project timelines that integrate various components of custom automation and training.
+ Demonstrate a successful track record in launching new production lines.
+ Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to coordinate resources for project and business objectives.
+ Provide timely status updates to management.
+ Adhere to company policies and guidelines.
+ Exhibit strong communication skills.
Technical Expertise & Problem Solving
+ Utilize extensive technical knowledge in assembly process technology and related fields to devise solutions for complex challenges.
+ Guide programs to successful completion, potentially assuming a leadership role in projects.
+ Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts in manufacturing technology.
+ Lead the development of high-volume assembly processes, including pilot production and optimization.
+ Manage the procurement of production equipment, including specification development and acceptance testing.
+ Oversee vendor management in the design and implementation of manufacturing solutions.
+ Apply six-sigma and lean methodologies to enhance manufacturing processes.
+ Develop processes through experimental testing, data analysis, and reporting.
+ Implement BD-standardized manufacturing technologies.
Autonomy & Decision-Making
+ Work independently with significant discretion in determining technical objectives.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
+ At least 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience in high-volume automated manufacturing, preferably in medical devices.
+ Minimum of 5 years of project management experience; Agile methodology experience is preferred.
+ Proven experience leading teams through all project phases, including budgeting and vendor management.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
