Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to formulate equipment proposals by delivering engineering insights and design proficiency.
  • Support Project Managers in system commissioning and provide on-site assistance.
  • Analyze project specifications to strategize the design of components and select appropriate system elements.
  • Assess manufacturing viability, estimate costs, and evaluate maintenance needs for diverse material handling solutions.
  • Create system layouts and design specific components utilizing 2D and 3D CAD software. Products may include steel frameworks, sheet metal components, mechanisms, and other related items.
  • Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, functionality, and manufacturability.
  • Draft specifications, user manuals, and document engineering designs comprehensively.
  • Oversee production processes, including the selection of manufacturing techniques and fabrication methods. Assist in procurement activities related to parts ordering and supplier selection.
  • Facilitate coordination among various engineering disciplines, purchasing, project management, and site integration.
  • Maintain precise records and prepare a range of documentation, including meeting notes, correspondence, and technical reports that are both clear and concise.
  • Establish project timelines by reviewing project plans and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project tasks.
  • Examine project specifications by analyzing product designs, customer expectations, and performance criteria.
  • Lead projects with a financial scope of up to 10 million USD.
