SALARY:
$42,405.00 to $76,720.00 base salary with opportunities for additional variable compensation. Compensation is based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Farm Credit Mid-America/Rural 1st may offer compensation outside the stated range for legitimate reasons unrelated to membership in a protected class.

About the Role: The Client Financial Advisor (CFA) serves as the initial point of contact for every customer and visitor when they engage with our retail offices.

The CFA is responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience through a service-oriented approach and a positive demeanor while providing financial services.

Key responsibilities include building, nurturing, and sustaining robust relationships with both internal and external clients, engaging through various communication channels, managing financial transactions, overseeing monetary accounting tasks, providing loan support, and promoting additional services.

The CFA also offers general assistance to other roles and departments within the office and across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with customers by actively listening, resolving issues, promoting beneficial products and services, and consistently delivering high-quality service.
  • Effectively utilize technology to enhance customer service.
  • Act as the primary contact in managing office operations to ensure a consistent, timely, and thorough level of service that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure all financial transaction processing complies with industry standards, including adherence to relevant laws and regulations; monitor necessary reports.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to view every interaction as an opportunity to provide value and relay information effectively.
  • Manage and resolve account discrepancies, including credit line overdrafts, insufficient fund notifications, and delinquencies.
  • Handle payoff processing and lien releases.
  • Assist with mail processing and distribution.
  • Support marketing initiatives and meetings.
  • Perform post-closing tasks related to loans.
  • Manage document scanning.
  • Provide customer service and processing support across all business segments.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for facility vendors, ensuring building maintenance and upkeep.
  • Monitor non-employee access to the premises.
  • Coordinate invoice management and accounts payable.
  • Order and maintain office supplies.
  • Oversee and manage office expenditures.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve collective goals.

Minimum Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED and a minimum of three years of successful experience in two or more of the following areas: administrative support, financial customer service, or computer operations.

Mental & Physical Requirements: This position requires team members to frequently sit, use their hands for tasks, and communicate verbally.

Standing or walking is often necessary, with occasional requirements for reaching with hands and arms, and lifting or moving items up to ten pounds.

Vision requirements include both close and distance vision. The work environment typically has a moderate noise level.

This role may involve a combination of mental and physical tasks, necessitating strong cognitive abilities, problem-solving skills, and occasional physical activities such as standing, lifting, or extended computer use.

Some positions may require specific physical or mental capabilities related to driving, including holding a valid driver's license and the ability to drive long distances.
