Job Summary:

Vincere Tax is seeking a highly skilled Tax Professional and Financial Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a variety of tax and accounting services to our clients, including preparing tax returns and monthly financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tax interviews with clients to gather necessary information and documents.
  • Review corporate and personal income tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Advise business owners and individuals on tax code and regulations.
  • Process state and federal payroll taxes, and reconcile bank and other financial statements.
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, and communicate with the IRS, State Agencies, and clients as needed.
  • Keep highly organized and updated client files, and review and prepare various tax returns, including corporate, partnership, individual, trust, estate, non-profit, and benefit plan tax returns.
  • Prepare tax plans, business valuations, and collaborate with other tax professionals, managers, and partners to optimize workflow.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Enrolled Agent (EA) license in good standing.
  • 2 years of experience as an EA in a corporate setting, preferred.
  • QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification, preferred.
  • Corporate and personal tax experience, a plus.
  • Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office and databases.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks and financial statements.
  • Outstanding communication skills, and ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong oral and written skills, required.
  • Curious, avid learner, flexible, self-starter, dedicated to quality, and team player.
