Job Overview

Simon Roofing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Roofing Service Manager to join our team. As a Roofing Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading the service operations in our service branch, ensuring safe productivity, inspecting job site safety, hiring, developing, and leading service crews to deliver timely, cost-effective service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage service operations in our service branch, ensuring safe productivity and job site safety.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery, customer satisfaction, and sales growth.
  • Recruit, train, and develop service crew members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Monitor and analyze service performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in the commercial roofing industry or related relevant construction experience.
  • Basic knowledge of computers, including Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to calculate figures and apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record to be cleared to drive a company vehicle.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Working Conditions:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to frequently ascend/descend ladders up to 40 feet.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions.
