Job Title: Business Development Manager B2B

Company Overview: Gardner White Furniture Company is a leading provider of commercial and residential furniture solutions. Our Business Design Services team offers a wide range of services, including commercial and residential furniture and décor, and intelligent design solutions for both home and business.

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key decision makers, and driving revenue growth in the B2B sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. New Business Development:

* Identify, target, and secure new B2B clients in relevant sectors such as hospitality, corporate offices, educational institutions, and real estate.
* Research and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings to identify growth opportunities.
* Develop strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives and sales targets.
* Build a robust pipeline of potential clients through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and other outreach methods.

2. Account Management:

* Manage relationships with existing B2B clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Upsell and cross-sell products to existing accounts by understanding their evolving needs and offering customized solutions.
* Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries, orders, and issues, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.

3. Sales Strategy & Planning:

* Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals in the B2B segment.
* Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to B2B clients.
* Maintain detailed knowledge of the company's product range, industry trends, and market conditions.
* Regularly report on sales performance, market opportunities, and competitive threats to senior management.

4. Collaboration & Teamwork:

* Work closely with the internal sales team, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of orders.
* Coordinate with the marketing department to support lead generation initiatives and develop client-focused presentations and proposals.
* Provide feedback to product/service development teams on client needs and industry trends to drive innovation and product improvement.

5. Market Expansion & Networking:

* Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and build a professional network.
* Identify and establish partnerships with industry associations, interior designers, architects, and other relevant stakeholders.
* Stay updated on market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics within the furniture industry.

Requirements:

* Degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably within the furniture retail or related industries.
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing business accounts.
* Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
* Experience working with commercial clients (hotels, offices, real estate developers, etc.).
* Knowledge of the furniture industry, including design trends, supply chain, and customer preferences.
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel as needed.

* Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of the sales cycle, particularly in B2B environments. Ability to close deals and develop long-term relationships.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.

Travel: This position requires travel.
