The Relief Customer Service Representative Driver is a key member of our team at Vestis, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the timely delivery of products to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a company step van to provide products and services to clients in designated areas.
  • Verify daily preventative maintenance of the vehicle and maintain proper operator documentation.
  • Manage daily routes independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Load and unload products according to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Review invoices daily for complete and accurate information and make corrections as needed.
  • Meet sales goals and promote overall route growth to enhance profitability.
  • Develop leads and prospects, call on prospective customers to solicit business, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts.
  • Assist the sales organization with the procurement of additional new business.
  • Possess a strong understanding of services, policies, and pricing methods and can clearly communicate these to customers.
  • Monitor customer feedback and handle customer issues in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Take responsibility for personal safety and watch out for the safety of others.
Requirements:
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
  • Excellent driving record and customer service experience with a wide variety of consistent customer contact.
  • Strong math and basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrated experience selling services/products and generating new business preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and think quickly to identify/solve customer concerns.
Working Environment:

Working conditions may include exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions, fast-paced environments, and irregular and long hours.

Must be able to routinely lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 lbs. and load/unload product from truck without assistance.

Must be able to occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ lbs. This position requires bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching.

Education:

High school degree or equivalent required.

License Requirements/Certifications:

Valid Driver's License required.
