Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Manager III to join our team at Applied Materials. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of customer engineers and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and direct a team of customer engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Operational Excellence: Implement and maintain processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery, including regular customer visits, performance monitoring, and corrective action where necessary.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with the District Sales Engineer to develop and implement account plans, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Financial Management: Responsible for financial forecasting, cost efficiency, and financial result measurement.
  • System Installation: Plan, report, and execute system installations, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • RMA Procedure: Manage the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of customer returns.
  • Employee Development: Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to customer engineers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience: 4-7 years of experience in field service management or a related field
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions, experience with financial management and forecasting
