Lead Cybersecurity Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX (3 days onsite / week)

Work Model: Hybrid

We are seeking a core security professional with expertise in Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) policy management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate in both written and verbal formats with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including non-technical executives, corporate leaders, business partners, vendors, and peers.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud infrastructures, host systems, servers, databases, laptops, firewalls, and other devices for secure data management and transfer.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to information security tool implementations, conducting thorough root cause analyses.
  • Prepare, deliver, and maintain security and compliance documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on security best practices and technologies, while fostering team development through training, guidance, and mentorship.
  • Configure existing technologies to address operational challenges effectively.
  • Develop new standards for cloud security to tackle the various challenges associated with cloud utilization.
  • Establish a unified network security standard that encompasses policies, security review processes, and guidelines for routers, firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
  • Integrate vulnerability assessment tools and reporting as a fundamental aspect of our application and systems deployment processes.

Qualifications:

  • Client-focused mindset, demonstrated through the implementation of Information Security and Networking best practices and procedures.
  • Proven experience in environments certified and compliant with globally recognized Security Frameworks and Information Security Management Systems (such as NIST SP 800-53, ISO27001, HIPAA, SOX, PCI).
  • Advanced knowledge of Caching, Proxy, and Antivirus devices.
  • Expertise in Global and Local load balancing technologies.
  • In-depth understanding of SSL technologies.
  • Relevant vendor certifications, including Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE, Palo Alto certifications, Fortinet certifications, or Proxy/Bluecoat certifications.
