Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and uphold security policies and procedures in alignment with industry benchmarks.
  • Perform regular security evaluations, audits, and ensure adherence to security protocols.
  • Design and implement secure cloud infrastructures (Azure and AWS).
  • Utilize Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools.
  • Safeguard the security of SaaS platforms, including email, file sharing, and third-party applications.
  • Configure and oversee security measures for servers and endpoints, including deploying and managing endpoint protection solutions.
  • Establish security protocols for Mobile Device Management (MDM).
  • Conduct routine vulnerability assessments and automated penetration testing using proprietary tools, developing remediation strategies for identified vulnerabilities.
  • Implement and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, including single sign-on (SSO) and privileged access management (PAM).
  • Ensure proper user provisioning and access management.
  • Lead technical implementations of data protection services, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
  • Contribute to the formulation and upkeep of disaster recovery strategies and procedures.
  • Review and ensure that backup, redundancy, and replication solutions comply with availability and recovery best practices, including conducting regular recovery drills.
  • Conduct security assessments, evaluations, and hardening activities across critical systems, including endpoints, servers, network infrastructure, and cloud services.
  • Apply and enforce security configuration standards (e.g., CIS, NIST).
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory mandates and industry standards.
  • Implement and manage security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
  • Deploy and maintain managed detection and response (MDR), intrusion detection systems (IDS), and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
  • Configure and manage network security policies across perimeter and internal network devices, including firewalls and wireless access points.
  • Engage in incident response planning and tabletop exercises, developing incident response strategies and playbooks.
  • Assist in the implementation and configuration of security awareness training programs and solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend their security requirements and deliver customized solutions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure security is embedded in all facets of IT infrastructure, developing technical security standards and operational procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant certifications: CCSP, CISSP, CEH, CISM, etc.
  • Experience in managed IT or security services (MSP or MSSP), managing multiple clients and environments concurrently.
  • Strong comprehension of security technologies and frameworks.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Authorized to work in the US.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as FFIEC, SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, CMMC, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.
  • Knowledge of popular security frameworks such as CIS, NIST, ISO, SOC2.
  • Experience with enterprise security technologies (firewalls such as Palo Alto and FortiGate, endpoint security tools such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, and FortiEDR).
  • Experience working in or with a Security Operations Center (SOC).
  • Experience participating in security assessments and audit initiatives.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools.
  • Adept at managing multiple clients, initiatives, and priorities effectively.
  • Skilled in gathering, assessing, and presenting technical security metrics and trends.
