Job Summary

Leap29 is seeking an experienced Asset and Operations Manager to oversee the financial and operational management of solar power generation facilities. This role involves ensuring safe operational management, addressing technical issues, and maximizing net cash flow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage asset management, operations, and maintenance activities for our client's operational assets.
  • Execute asset management strategies to optimize the performance and reliability of assets, ensuring both immediate and long-term goals are met.
  • Ensure timely completion of all reporting requirements for operational assets, both internally and externally.
  • Evaluate asset performance and implement necessary measures to enhance revenue.
  • Supervise and guide direct reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in asset management or operations/maintenance within a solar power plant environment.
  • Extensive experience in operations or financial management, including contract administration.
  • A self-motivated individual capable of working independently on projects, data analysis, and key deliverables.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with senior management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in presentations.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Willingness to travel, estimated at 10%.
Desired Attributes
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience with engineering, operations, and technical teams.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level hardware and software systems for remote data acquisition and control of solar power facilities, including CMMS and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety program management and requirements for power generation facilities.
