Job Title: Business Development Director

About the Role:

At EXP, we're driven to provide innovative solutions for the world's built and natural environments. Our team of engineers, architects, designers, and scientists come together to solve complex challenges. As a Business Development Director, you'll be part of our infrastructure group in the Northeast market.

Your Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with practice leaders and project delivery staff to produce proposals and develop business strategies.
  • Lead pursuit pre-positioning efforts and maintain a project pipeline.
  • Obtain information from consultant firms and assist with proposal writing.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships and brand ambassadorship.
  • Assist with awards submittals and interact with EXP's marketing team.
  • Update and maintain EXP's CRM system.
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 10 years of Northeast experience in the AEC industry
  • Proven track record of building project teams and winning work
  • Solid working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Excellent knowledge of marketing fundamentals and AEC industry terminology
  • Extensive experience in client-facing roles
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Persistent, enthusiastic, and driven
  • Experience managing key accounts
  • Willing and able to travel


Pay Range: $150,000 to $200,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors, including skill set, experience, certifications, and specific work location.
