**Work hours may vary, requiring flexibility between 6:30 am - 5:30 pm**

Key Responsibilities:

Must adhere to all EEC, NAEYC, and Head Start performance standards.

This role may involve substitute teaching based on requirements. Duties include:

  • Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to Head Start/Early Head Start and the MA Department of Early Education and Care;
  • Assisting in maintaining a clean, safe, healthy, and developmentally suitable classroom environment;
  • Supporting individual and group activities in a center-based classroom under the guidance of educators.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory. Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with a High School diploma is preferred.
  • (If you do not possess your CDA, we will assist you in obtaining it and cover the costs)
  • Early Education and Care (EEC) Preschool and/or Infant/Toddler Teacher Certification is essential.
  • 6 months to 1 year of teaching experience is required.
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience working with low-income individuals or families is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient computer skills in basic software and data collection systems are necessary.
  • Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish or English/Khmer) are advantageous.
  • ORI/DCF review is required prior to employment.
  • A background check is mandatory before employment.
  • Strong crisis management skills are essential.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
