BEHAVIORAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Who You Are:
A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Special Education, or a related human services field is REQUIRED. A minimum of 2 years of experience in applying the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is also REQUIRED. Proven experience in executing positive behavior support strategies and teaching essential skills is necessary. You should have experience working with youth aged 21 and under who face significant emotional and behavioral challenges or Autism. You are highly organized, possess excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, and work well within a team. A valid driver's license and dependable transportation are required for providing in-home behavioral support services.

What You Will Do:
1. Assist in conducting functional behavior assessments and evaluating learning needs in family environments.
2. Collaborate in the development of positive behavior support and skill acquisition plans tailored to individual behavioral goals.
3. Implement, model, and monitor the progress of personalized plans based on data analysis under the guidance of a BCBA.
4. Work closely with youth team members to ensure cohesive support.
5. Provide training for parents and caregivers on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to effectively implement plans with children and families.
