Position Overview:
The GPS Admissions team is in search of a dedicated part-time admissions support specialist. This position plays a crucial role in facilitating the operations of the admissions team through various administrative functions, exceptional customer service, and comprehensive student assistance. A commitment to delivering high-quality customer service is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to inquiries via email and phone
- Managing documentation related to student applications
- Updating and maintaining student records accurately
New hires will receive training to develop a thorough understanding of our Student Information System (SiS), Application Systems, and the array of student services we offer. They will collaborate with faculty, students, and staff while handling sensitive information with discretion.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED/equivalent is required, with a background in customer support
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in higher education
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary
Application Instructions:
Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis until the position is filled. The position may close once a sufficient number of qualified candidates have been identified.
This is a part-time, non-benefited position requiring 18 hours per week. The GPS office operates during specified hours throughout the week.
