As a Retail Sales Consultant, You Will:

Collaborate with local retailers to engage consumers about NRG's electricity and gas offerings. Assist customers in your community by helping them reduce their energy expenses. Develop skills to identify consumer needs and effectively address concerns. Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and colleagues. Welcome customers warmly and provide tailored solutions. Work closely with your team to achieve collective goals and celebrate successes. No door-to-door sales, cold calling, or telemarketing involved.

Job Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell products and services in retail settings
- Maintain professional interactions with customers and colleagues
- Achieve or exceed personal sales targets on a monthly basis
- Greet customers courteously and provide assistance
- Guide customers to product displays; assess their needs and recommend suitable products
- Inform customers about product features and benefits
- Assist customers in making informed selections to build their confidence
- Accurately document and report sales activities
- Contribute to team objectives by achieving related results
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of workstations
- Submit all required paperwork accurately and promptly

Performance Metrics:
- Regular and punctual attendance
- Achievement of established sales quotas
- Customer satisfaction based on feedback and complaint resolution

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of six months experience in sales, retail, telecom, or marketing
- Knowledge of products and services
- Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to customer satisfaction and integrity
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Capacity to maintain customer confidentiality
