About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Account Executive to join our team at Daniel J. Edelman, Inc. As an Assistant Account Executive, you will play a key role in supporting our communications plan development, research, client tracking and reporting, and media outreach to consumer, trade, and other types of media.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support account teams in daily activities, including integrated communications, media relations, consumer engagement, trend monitoring, brand collaborations, social media and digital campaigns.
  • Understand key client information, including business strategy, industry news, products and services, key customers, and competitors.
  • Provide client service administration, including preparing client status and activity reports, attending meetings and conference calls, compiling media monitoring reports and competitor coverage, scheduling, and logistics.
  • Research, outline, write, edit, and proofread materials, including pitches, media lists, product key messages, fact sheets, talk tracks, media briefing documents, and more.
  • Assist with research, including analysis of media coverage and online conversations.
  • Build and foster ongoing relationships with key media across verticals.
  • Conduct media outreach and follow up in alignment with pitch calendar and agile opportunities.
  • Track product inventory and oversee creative product mailers alongside the team.
  • Assist with vendor management for brand initiatives, including press trips, editor and influencer events, etc.
  • Coordinate details for brand collaborations and virtual press & influencer events, including securing attendees, staffing events, and preparing recap reports.

Preferred Qualifications
  • This is an entry-level position. Candidates should demonstrate an interest and understanding of the communications marketing industry and basic principles of integrated communications marketing.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written and oral communications skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new conditions, deadlines, and assignments.
  • Solid knowledge of the MS Office suite.
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and the ability to provide quality work to clients and teams.
Compensation

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
