About the Role

As a Senior Tax Accounting Manager at Pushpay, you will be part of a dynamic finance team responsible for navigating various U.S. and international tax laws in a rapidly expanding Fintech company. Based in Redmond, Washington, this role is well-compensated and offers a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately and timely complete US federal, state, and local taxes filings.
  • Prepare and file New Zealand income and other tax filings.
  • Prepare federal and state income tax provisions under IFRS, ASC740, and FIN 48.
  • Ensure US Sales and Use tax, property, franchise, gross receipt, and payroll tax compliance.
  • Conduct sales and income tax nexus reviews and adherence.
  • Adhere to the Company's transfer pricing agreements.
  • Analyze and review the tax impact of inter-company transactions.
  • Collaborate with tax, finance, treasury, and external tax providers to ensure compliance.
  • Establish internal tax processes.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly tax expense, tax liability, and deferred tax calculations.
  • Work with external auditors and tax authorities to resolve issues.
  • Support operationalization of tax strategies and changes to end-to-end tax requirements.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of progressive experience with corporate income taxes, including compliance and tax accounting.
  • CPA or CPA candidate.
  • BS Degree in Finance or Accounting required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of IFRS, ASC 740, and FIN 48.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience with NetSuite is welcomed.
  • Knowledge of Avalara or other data analytics tools desirable.
