We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper - Environmental Services Specialist to join our team at Providence Health & Services. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all resident rooms and common areas, including but not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Operate heavy rolling carts of trash to the loading dock, and use a large carpet cleaner as needed.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management using a radio and respond to calls through the building.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on best practices and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and provide exceptional customer service.
- 6 months of experience in housekeeping or janitorial services.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, and stand for long periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
