Environmental Field Technician

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Environmental Field Technician to join its team in the Pacific Northwest. As a key member of our environmental field team, you will play a vital role in assisting with environmental field work, collecting field data and samples, and collaborating with a diverse team of professionals on exciting and impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct various types of environmental monitoring, including water, air, asbestos, and lead sampling, using basic field instruments.
- Operate and maintain remedial systems, such as drills, pumps, and electrical equipment.
- Assemble and maintain field equipment and systems, inspect equipment, and troubleshoot as necessary.
- Collect water samples from various sources to assess pollution problems.
- Produce timely and detailed service reports.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Hazwoper Certification, annual physical, and respirator fit test required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- 2+ years' prior related experience preferred.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and excellent analytical and judgment capabilities.
- Ability to work well individually and within groups, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
- Ability to travel to various job sites and spend most of the workday on-site.
