Position Overview:

The role of the Document Scanning Specialist encompasses a range of responsibilities focused on the efficient processing of surveys and related documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • High-Volume Scanning: Operate the Fujitsu fi-6800 scanner to digitize a significant number of surveys.
  • Document Preparation: Ensure all surveys are ready for scanning by removing staples, flattening creases, and repairing any tears.
  • Template Compliance: Scan documents into designated templates while adhering to specific project guidelines, necessitating memorization of various survey versions and rules.
  • Batch Tracking: Maintain accurate logs of scanned documents using batch slips and clipboards.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough checks on scanned batches to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Address and resolve any scanner-related issues promptly.
  • Mail Processing: Follow detailed project instructions for checking in mail, including reviewing surveys for specific criteria and preparing them for scanning.
  • Data Entry: Accurately input data into internal tracking systems and create daily logs for mail counts and survey IDs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Data Capture Management team to assist in file creation and project organization.
  • Shipping: Prepare and ship completed surveys once data capture is finalized.

Work Environment:

This position operates within a standard office setting, ensuring a conducive atmosphere for productivity.

Position Type:

Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Compensation:

Hourly wage ranges from $21 to $22.

Experience and Skills Required:

Physical Requirements:

Must be capable of sitting and standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 pounds.
