About the Role:

The Hispanic Technology Executive Council is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Vice President, Head of Syndicate Operations to lead our Syndicate Operations team. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of the financial markets, operations, and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Syndicate Operations team to ensure seamless execution of syndicate operations, including deal pipeline management, trade management, and settlement.
  • Develop and implement effective control frameworks to meet audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the integrity of operational processes, championing a proactive culture and environment where processes, risks, and controls are continually monitored and potential risks escalated in a timely manner.
  • Lead by example in support of organizational initiatives, exhibiting in-depth knowledge of products and issues, and proactively seeking opportunities to work across silos.
  • Identify and develop innovative solutions and cost savings opportunities, build effective relationships with clients, facilitate, influence, and enable change.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in Tier 1 global financial institutions with strong experience in either Equity and/or Debt Markets Middle Office or Operations.
  • Finra Series 99 registered preferred.
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a leader who can positively and productively add product impact to both strategic and tactical technology.
  • Self-reliant, good problem solver, results-oriented with strong awareness and a strong risk management and control mindset.
