EVENT CONCESSION CASHIER

We are in search of enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Event Concession Cashiers and Stand Attendants.

As an Event Concession Cashier, you will play a vital role in enhancing the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities for Cashier:
  • Welcome guests, convey stand offerings, and address any inquiries in a friendly manner.
  • Serve food and beverage items in appropriate portions while adhering to sanitation standards.
  • Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, verifying identification, and following all alcohol service regulations.
  • Maintain records of inventory and waste.
  • Assist in the setup of the stand, organize inventory, and alert the Stand Lead of any shortages.
  • Conduct cleanup duties to uphold the cleanliness and quality of the work area, including equipment maintenance.
  • Accurately process all transactions through the point-of-sale system and inform guests of their total amounts.
  • Collect payments for food and beverage items; handle credit card transactions or provide correct change.
  • Ensure all transactions are accounted for; maintain an accurate cash count and balance registers at the end of the shift.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities for Stand Attendant:
  • Prepare and set up concession stands prior to events.
  • Keep a tidy workspace.
  • Serve concessions to patrons, including food and beverages.
  • Sell merchandise as required.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and sales logs.
  • Foster a welcoming environment for guests.
  • Exhibit strong customer service and teamwork skills.
Qualifications:
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Experience in food service within a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in customer service.
  • Retail experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with a diverse clientele in a loud, high-energy setting.
  • Proven track record of responsible cash handling.
  • Capability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, and engage in physical activity for long durations.
  • Experience working with rotating inventory and various food items.
  • Knowledge of responsible alcohol service guidelines.
Compensation: $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
