Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Interaction: Greet guests, communicate stand offerings, and answer any guest questions in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and beverage items in correct proportions, following proper sanitation guidelines.
  • Alcohol Service: Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, request identification, adhere to all alcohol service policies and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Record all inventory and waste, participate in set-up of stand, arrange inventory, and notify Stand Lead of any inventory deficiency or shortages.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Perform clean-up duties in the stand to maintain the quality appearance of the work area, including cleaning equipment.
  • Point-of-Sale Operations: Properly record all transactions via the point-of-sale system and inform guests of the amounts owed.
  • Cash Handling: Collect the proper money for food and beverage items, process credit card transactions, and determine correct change for guests.
  • Accountability: Account for all transactions, maintain accurate cash count, and balance banks at end of shift.
Requirements
  • Flexibility: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Food Service Experience: Experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with a variety of clients in a loud, high-volume setting.
  • Retail Experience: Retail experience and ability to handle cash responsibly.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift to 25 lbs, stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, and engage in physical activity for long periods.
  • Inventory Management: Ability to work with rotating inventory and a variety of food items.
  • Responsible Service: Knowledge of responsible service guidelines for alcohol.
Compensation

Competitive hourly rate: $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
