Job Summary:

Amentum is seeking a highly experienced and skilled North American Director of Business Development to lead our business development efforts in the Facility Maintenance and Management services arena. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and executing capture plans, and leading proposal development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Capture Plans: Develop and execute capture plans that identify and pursue new business opportunities, including developing and executing strategies to win large-scale facility maintenance contracts.
  • Lead Proposal Development Efforts: Lead proposal development efforts, including developing and executing proposal plans, managing proposal teams, and ensuring high-quality proposal deliverables.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, users, and acquisition leads in the services sector.
  • Drive Business Growth: Drive business growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and executing business development strategies, and leading proposal development efforts.
  • Manage and Lead Teams: Manage and lead teams of business development professionals, including proposal managers, capture managers, and business development specialists.
  • Develop and Execute Business Development Strategies: Develop and execute business development strategies that align with Amentum's business objectives, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and executing capture plans, and leading proposal development efforts.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Marketing.
  • Experience: Ten years of business development or capture experience in the Facility Maintenance and Management services arena, with a proven track record of success in leading captures and proposals.
  • Skills: Strong business development and capture management skills, including the ability to develop and execute capture plans, lead proposal development efforts, and build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Certifications: Valid Driver's License and ability to travel up to 25%.
