Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range for this position reflects a nationwide market range and encompasses a wide array of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary will be influenced by various factors, including the complexity and scope of the role, the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, experience, and other employment conditions. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees may also qualify for performance-based cash incentive awards.

Salary Range

$60,000 - $99,400.00

What Is the Opportunity?

This role supports the Commercial Accounts Group by focusing on financial reporting and analytics. The individual will be tasked with delivering precise and timely financial reports and analyses on a monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc basis, catering to four distinct business units. Success in this position requires strong technical abilities to generate monthly and quarterly reports, as well as to develop new reporting frameworks to accommodate evolving business requirements. The ideal candidate should also possess the capability to interpret and analyze data to identify significant insights. Furthermore, the candidate will consistently seek efficiencies to enhance reporting and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, assess, and validate financial and operational reports.
  • Analyze, interpret, and validate trends and variances in business performance, collaborating with cross-functional peers as needed.
  • Synthesize and present findings, results, and observations to the direct manager and team members.
  • Assist financial partners in preparing analyses to support business strategies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent professional designations such as CPA, CMA, or comparable advanced education.
  • Understanding of financial analysis concepts and processes, along with accounting practices and principles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to leverage analytical skills to access and gather data, with a solid understanding of its implications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and financial reporting software (e.g., TM1, Essbase, Hyperion, etc.).
  • Familiarity with the insurance industry.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills, along with problem-solving abilities.
  • Accountability for decisions and actions.
  • Intermediate project management skills.
  • Capability to identify customer needs and take appropriate actions while adhering to tight deadlines.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
