We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to provide support across various initiatives within the DSG FSC Commercial division.

The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the Finance Manager and Program Managers to achieve the overarching objectives of our contracts.

This position is primarily remote, but occasional visits to our office in Herndon, VA may be required.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Finance Manager in conducting ad-hoc financial analyses as requested by the Program Management Office (PMO) and other stakeholders.
  • Track funding status, ensuring timely and accurate notifications regarding funding details by line-item as necessary.
  • Support accounts receivable functions during the billing cycle.
  • Oversee billing status and address unbilled concerns, collaborating with Finance, Contracts, Accounting, and PMO to resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley regulations, FAR, and all relevant company policies and procedures pertaining to contract performance and financial matters.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years of financial experience.
  • Proven ability to cultivate relationships across diverse functional teams and internal business partners.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong data management, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Solid understanding of various contract types and project control methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for engagement on Department of Defense contracts.
